Police in a south China city have seized more than 7,000 imitation guns and large quantities of bullets in a recent raid, authorities said on Sunday.
Police in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said that they found 43 types of replica guns in a warehouse rented by a man surnamed Tang and his wife, who run a toy store in the city.
The guns, hidden in 204 boxes, were similar to real guns in appearance, color and size. Loaded with bullets, they could cause potential danger, according to the Liubei branch of the city's public security bureau.
The couple have been detained, and the case is under further investigation.
