The Chinese State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense has announced to launch a lunar flight bedstead to conduct the country's first reentry flight trial at any proper time between Friday and Sunday.
The flight bedstead is set to return to the earth after reaching an orbit close to the moon and finally land in the central Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the northern part of China. The trial aims to pave the way for the Chang-e V lunar mission in 2017, which is to complete an unmanned sample collection on the moon.
The Long March 3C rocket will carry the bedstead into the space, and the filling of rocket propeller started on Wednesday. Other preparation work is also underway in the Xichang Satellite Launching Center, where the launching will be done.
