The campaign leader of "Save Universal Suffrage, anti-occupy central" has vowed to support Hong Kong police and start a signature petition starting from this Saturday.
They are demanding protesters to give the occupied roads back to the residents, restoring order and maintaining the legal system. The signature petition will last nine days. They will be setting up both street stands and soliciting online signatures.
All participants will need to present their identity cards before signing their names. Robert Chow, the chair of the campaign says the move is the most democratic way to decide the region's future and said the campaign will launch more of such activities.
