Beijing's local government has announced plans to launch a "business innovation park" to encourage young entrepreneurs, the Beijing Evening News reported.
According to the proposal jointly issued by the city's education and human resource departments, the initiative will provide support for more than 23,000 graduate students to start their own businesses in Beijing from 2014 to 2017. In addition to providing seed money for start-ups, practical training and course modules in business and enterprise management will be offered to those taking part in the scheme.
