Brazil defeated China 2-1 at the International Youth Football Tournament here on Tuesday.
With the victory, Brazil won the tournament collecting seven points from three matches.
China, who levelled with Brazil with four points before the match, ranked the second.
"China has good players, good technique, I thinks it's a new challenge for us, but I am confident one more time again play well and to win," said Alexandre Gallo, coach of Brazil before the match.
His confidence was justified through captain Doria, whose goal in the 21st minute helped Brazil establish their 1-0 advantage.
Zhang Yinuo, the goalkeeper of the host, then denied several threatening attempts from Brazil. At the end of the first half, forward Wellington Silva contributed another goal to extend the advantage for the guests to 2-0.
China's endeaver worked in the second half. Liao Lisheng was knocked down in the box in the 67th minute, and the 21-year-old defender from Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande hit the penalty himself to the cheers of home audience.
Earlier, Australia grabbed a 1-0 victory over South Korea in the afternoon to rank third with four points, and South Korea sat at the bottom with one point.
