4.8-magnitude quake jolts Taiwan

A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan at 1:46 a.m. on Thursday, according to Taiwan earthquake monitoring department.

The epicenter was monitored at a depth of 9 km. Strong tremor was felt in Taipei with no casualties reported so far.
