A senior ethnic affairs official in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has been arrested for allegedly take bribes, according to the Supreme People's Procuratorate on Friday.
Ainiwa'er Turdi, former deputy inspector of the regional ethnic affairs commission, was arrested Monday by the Xinjiang procuratorate. The case is being further investigated.
