Protesters in Hong Kong have found a new tactic to disrupt the social order in Hong Kong, targeting the retail businesses, while avoiding any intervention from police, and has been dubbed the "Jiuwu" movement.

"Jiuwu", which means shopping in Cantonese, is a movement to occupy business streets in the name of shopping. With this movement, protesters block the streets and keep real shoppers from entering the stores.

The police are unable to stop the protesters' activities. Major retail business areas near Mong Kok and Causeway Bay are all suffering from the catastrophic results of this movement. Business insiders estimate Hong Kong's retail business will report losses reaching 30 to 40 percent since the beginning of the "Occupy Central" movement.
