Man commits suicide after stabbing another in Beijing

A man killed himself after stabbing another to death in downtown Beijing on Thursday afternoon, police said.

The incident took place at around 11:50 a.m. in a hutong in Andingmen, Dongcheng District. Two men were found dead after police arrived.

Initial investigation showed that the suspect surnamed Wang was a 57-year-old local resident and previously had conflicts with the victim.

Further investigation is underway.
