Guandong defeated Foshan 122-109 for their 14th straight victory on Sunday in a game which saw off as many as four players.
Guangdong forward Zhou Peng quit the game because of two technical fouls, while Yi Jianlian, Zhu Xuhang and Slava Kravtsov were all fouled out.
Guangdong star Yi Jianlian collected 14 points throughout the game, his lowest attacking performance this season.
Zhu Fangyu, the first player to get more than 10,000 points during CBA era, headed Guangdong with 28. Another Guangdong shooter Wang Shipeng added 23.
Foshan surprised the audience with a 22-9 start, but the host team returned with a 19-6 spurt, leveling the score 28-28 before ending the first quarter at 31-28.
Guangdong extended the lead in the second and third quarter. The gap went to as many as 16 points, and Foshan bounced back with another run to cut it to less than 10.
The final quarter saw a lot of fouls. Guangdong controlled the game, but Foshan had chances to turn the tables. Foshan was down 108-100 in the fourth quarter, only to see Wang Shipeng lay up to broaden the gap to 10.
Guangdong now hold a 22-3 record, only one game behind the league leaders Liaoning (23-2).
Stephon Marbury bagged 28 points, seven rebounds and five assists to carry Beijing over Jilin 124-121. Beijing extended the winning streak to six games, while Jilin lost the first game out of their last four.
Beijing stayed on the third place on CBA standings with a 19-6 record. Randolph Morris contributed 31 points and 11 points for Beijing. Jilin's Dominique Jones led the game with an impressive 45 points.
In Sunday's other games, Liaoning defeated Shanghai 116-99, Guangsha went past Shandong 116-105, Zhejiang lost to Qingdao 110-104, Dongguan stunned Sichuan 128-106, Jiangsu edged Chongqing 125-119, Fujian took down Bayi 104-96, Xinjiang outscored Tianjin 102-96, Shanxi beat Tongxi 144-129.
