Charlie Hebdo to release 1st issue after attack
Charlie Hebdo staff have worked late to finish the first issue of the satirical publication since last week's attack in which 12 people were killed at the newspaper's Paris offices.
Putting the final touches to the eight-page issue - down from the usual 16 pages - editor-in-chief Gerard Biard said the paper would be available on Wednesday as is tradition. The editorial staff was able to wrap this week's issue on Monday, with the assistance of daily newspaper Liberation, which is hosting them.
A record one million copies of Charlie Hebdo will be printed. Journalist Zineb El Rhazoui said the weekly newspaper will continue criticizing all faiths.
