Over 17 people were killed in a fire in south China's Guangdong Province on Thursday, local authorities said.
The fire broke out at about 1:51 p.m. on Thursday in a warehouse on the fourth floor of a small merchandise wholesale market in Huidong County. It had been put under control by 7:35 p.m., the county government said in a statement.
