Road pileup kills 7 in north China

A road pileup left seven people dead and another two injured on Tuesday in north China's Shanxi Province, local government said Wednesday.

The traffic accident in Lanxian County was caused by collision of a heavy-duty truck and three sedans at 5:50 p.m., said the county government's information office.

The injured are in stable condition. The cause of the collision is being investigated.
