A bunch of cultural activities expected in Beijing

A bunch of cultural activities, including over 100 professional art performances and over 200 public cultural activities, are expected in Beijing, to celebrate the Spring Festival.

There will be 63 traditional opera performances, 15 concerts, and 19 children's dramas presented to residents of the capital. Actors of Beijing Quju troupe will carry out performances in the open air during the festival. Meanwhile, residents will also have the chance to appreciate world-class ballet performances by troupes from Cuba and Russia. Beijing Municipal Cultural Bureau have also organized cultural activities targeting communities across the city, including sending Spring Festival couplets and holding community parties. More than 4,000 cultural centers, museums and libraries both in urban and rural areas will be open to residents.
