Three officials from north China's Hebei Province and southwest China's Guizhou Province have been put under criminal investigation over allegations of accepting bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said on Tuesday.
The officials are Zhang Fengguo, vice mayor of Hebei's Hengshui City; Fang Guoxing, deputy general manager of the Kweichow Maotai Group; and Jiang Ziqin, President and deputy Party secretary of the Southwest Guizhou Vocational and Technical College for Nationalities.
Local prosecutors have taken "coercive measures" against them.
According to the Criminal Procedure Law, coercive measures include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention and arrest.
