China's Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) last year handled 101 proposals and suggestions from the country's top legislative and political advisory bodies.[Special coverage]
Of the 101, there were 66 proposals made by deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) and 35 suggestions by members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee.
The proposals and suggestions were submitted to the SPP during national legislative and political advisory bodies' sessions in March last year, the SPP said Monday.
All the proposals and suggestions had been handled and the SPP had replied to lawmakers and political advisors by August, the SPP said, adding it had kept in close contact with legislators and political advisors through the handling process.
With those proposals and suggestions, the SPP had strengthened its work effectiveness and pushed forward relevant legislation and judicial interpretation.
