A forest fire that raged for more than 23 hours in southwest China's Yunnan Province was extinguished as of 9:35 p.m., local authorities said on Thursday.
More than 900 firefighters worked to put out the blaze that broke out in a forest in the Chenggong District of the capital Kunming City at around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the district's publicity department.
Fire-fighters are clearing embers left from the fire.
No casualties have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
