A direct flight between Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, and Katmandu, capital of Nepal, will be launched on April 1, according to Sichuan Airlines on Tuesday.
The daily flight will leave Chengdu at 7:30 a.m and arrive in Katmandu at 10:10 a.m. local time via Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region.
Passengers will be able to see Mount Qomolangma, the roof of the world, from the Airbus 319 plane, according to the company.
Nepal is a top hiking destination.
