On March 13, the Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau released the 2015 pension adjustment plan for retirees in the capital city. According to the new plan, the average retirement monthly pension will be raised by 305 yuan ($48.7) for a total of 3,355 yuan per person, the Beijing Times reported.

According to the bureau, the city has increased pensions for enterprise retirees in the city 23 times since 1994.
