Firemen catch falling stray cat

Firemen managed to save a stray cat falling from a building in Shiyan, Hubei province, on Saturday, March 14, 2015.

Firemen rushed to the scene in response to a call that said a cat was trapped on the rooftop of a half-completed building located on Zhejiang Road. Seeing the approaching firemen scaling their ladder, the cat became frightened and backed itself into a corner at the edge of the rooftop before accidentally falling from the building. The prepared firemen on the ground successfully caught the cat in a firefighter's uniform spread open below.

People who lived nearby said the stray cat was stuck on the rooftop for more than half a month. It managed to survive on food that nearby residents offered it.
