The "Belt and Road" initiatives made by China are very far-sighted, said Kuwaiti Ambassador to China Mohammad Saleh Althuwaikh on Friday.
The ambassador said in an exclusive interview with Xinhuanet that the initiatives are very visionary. The "Belt and Road" initiatives are not just China's strategies, but also initiatives concerned to all countries.
He noted that since China proposed the initiatives in 2013, many countries have paid attention and researched them, because the "Belt and Road" initiatives contain the idea of mutual benefit.
On China-Kuwait ties, the ambassador said they are healthy and constructive and have achieved an all-round development in various fields.
During the Kuwaiti Prime Minister's visit to China recently, a number of cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed, which would promote a broader, more far-reaching and comprehensive bilateral relationship, he added.
Meanwhile, he noted the just concluded "Two Sessions" of China's legislature and political advisory body have mapped out a visionary strategy and plan for China's foreign policy.
This friendly big country will have more constructive and fruitful cooperation with other countries, and promote peaceful development and win-win cooperation, he said.
Talking about China's "new normal", the ambassador held it is in a healthy range for national economic consolidation and development. "New normal", he believed, serves China's social development and will generate boundless possibilities as a well-thought-out plan.
