An Air China passenger aircraft made a forced landing in Hefei, capital of east China's Anhui Province, on Tuesday, due to "mechanical faults", according to sources with the Xinqiao Airport in Hefei.
The aircraft was serving on the flight CA1802 from Xiamen City in east China's Fujian Province to Beijing when suspected mechanical faults forced it to land in Hefei at 9:17 a.m.
None of the people on board suffered injuries. Passengers have been evacuated off the plane, which is under maintenance at the airport.
