Chinese political advisors were asked to grasp the spirit highlighted at a key Communist Party of China (CPC) meeting and pool wisdom for the nation's overall strategy for future development.
The fifth plenary session of the 18th CPC Central Committee concluded on Thursday approved proposals on the 13th five-year plan for national economic and social development from 2016 to 2020.
Members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) were told to pool wisdom and give suggestions to tackle difficulties blocking the nation's development.
The meeting was presided over by CPPCC National Committee chairman Yu Zhengsheng.
Senior political advisors were also urged at the meeting to study the updated Communist disciplinary rules item by item and earnestly practise them.
The CPC Central Committee adopted revised rules on clean governance and sanctions for violations of Party code of conduct on Oct. 12.
