Xinhua News Agency, China's state media, has released a mobile news application in Spanish language, Xinhua Movil.
Xinhua Movil is specially designed for offering Spanish-speaking users real-time multimedia content of Xinhua. It provides all-inclusive access to a wide range of news and information in text, photo and video forms.
Global users can free download this application from both Apple and Android app stores.
This application is the third of its kind that Xinhua operates, following the Chinese and English versions.
Xinhua, founded in 1931, is one of the world's leading media groups with around 160 global offices, covering China as well as international events and breaking news.
Beijing-headquartered Xinhua has gone beyond a traditional wire service toward a multimedia group with business being expanded from the wire service to a news website, www.xinhuanet.com, a satellite television network, www.cncworld.tv, a financial service, http://cfc.xinhua08.com, 19 newspapers and magazines and a publishing house, as well as the latest mobile services in Chinese, English and now Spanish.
