The Chinese Commerce Ministry held a European Showcase for Brands of China on Monday to promote Chinese enterprises and products as well as the development of Sino-British economic and trade relations.
It was the 10th consecutive session of such activity in Britain, involving 140 selected Chinese brand enterprises, which used 185 booths to showcase their products.
Covering a total area of about 3,800 square meters, the exhibition displayed well-known Chinese brand products in such areas as kitchen utensils, housewares, textile and garments, bags and suitcases, toys, gifts, stationery, garden facilities and small electrical appliances with hi-tech content and innovative designs.
The exhibits included not only traditional Chinese products, but also new products that reflect the innovation and development of China. They provided visitors and buyers with an excellent opportunity to know more about China and Chinese brand products and won good recognition.
The Chinese Commerce Ministry also held a Promotion Conference of China's E-commerce and recommended four main e-commerce platforms: AliExpress, DHgate.com, Made-in-China.com and Trade2CN.
These platforms aim to help Chinese enterprises expand their trade channels, help overseas buyers know more about Chinese enterprises and products, and promote trade exchanges and cooperation.
