The 7th EU-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair kicked off in Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Wednesday.
The fair has become a prominent investment, trade and technology cooperation platform between the European Union and China, attracting more than 1,000 EU companies, organizations, universities, governmental bodies and research institutions, and more than 2,500 Chinese counterparts to the past six events, organizers said.
This year's two-day fair is focused on the bio-pharmaceutical, environmental protection, new energy and IT sectors.
More than 500 government officials, experts, scholars and business players from both China and the EU were invited to the fair this year to share the latest policies, breaking technologies and leading business practices.
