Authorities are considering relaxing Mergers and Acquisitions regulations, the Shanghai Securities News reported on Thursday.
After the move, two-thirds of M&A activities are expected to be free from regulatory examination, the report said.
Most of the M&A deals will just have to make required disclosures, and regulators won't get involved once all the required information is made public, the newspaper reported.
