A delegation of more than 30 Chinese enterprises attended the China-Poland Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum held here in Warsaw on Wednesday.

The Chinese trade group, led by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), was joined by their Polish peers at the forum.

Jiang Yaoping, vice Minister of Commerce of China, said he hoped Chinese and Polish enterprises could engage in in-depth exchanges and achieve fruitful and pragmatic cooperation at the forum.

Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak, meanwhile, called on the Polish enterprises to seize the opportunity to negotiate face-to-face with Chinese enterprises.

He also welcomed Chinese enterprises to investment in Poland.

Poland is China's largest trading partner in Central and Eastern Europe. Bilateral trade between the two countries in the first eight months of 2012 amounted to 9.55 billion U.S. dollars, up 14.2 percent year-on-year.
