An agreement between Hong Kong and Switzerland for the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income has entered into force, a spokesman for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government said Wednesday.
The spokesman said the agreement was signed in October last year, and came into force on Oct. 15 after completion of ratification procedures on both sides.
In Hong Kong it will have effect in any year of assessment beginning on or after April 1, 2013.
