Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,020.43, up 3.45 points, or 0.17 percent, from the previous close.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,074.66, up 14.12 points, or 0.18 percent.
