The Chinese mainland will launch an expiry review of anti-dumping measures on imports of methyl ethyl ketone from Japan and Taiwan region to decide whether it will continue to levy anti-dumping duties on these products, the Ministry of Commerce said Wednesday.
The ruling will be announced by November 21, 2013. The mainland started levying anti-dumping duties on methyl ethyl ketone from Taiwan, Japan and Singapore in 2007.
Methyl ethyl ketone is an organic solvent used for oil refining, dyestuff and coating materials.
