Geely to grow at least 15% annually

Geely released the Englon SC3, SC6 and SC76-AT at the 2012 Chongqing Auto Show, which kicked off on November 15 and the company has the confidence in maintaining an annual growth rate of 15 percent at least in the future.

The SC3 is 4,267mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,434mm.There is over fourteen interior areas for storage. Other accessories such as electric sunroof, parking sensor, dual airbags, the Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) also has made the model more user-friendly and safer.

The SC6 is equipped with Geely's self-developed 1.5-liter VVT petrol engine, more powerful, energy-saving, fuel-efficient and easy to maintain. Configurations for the model include CFC-free automatic air conditioning, a keyless start system, a GPS navigation system and a multi-function steering wheel.

Geekly is most proud of the SC76-AT which offers the power combination of a DVVT plus a DSI-6AT. With a six-speed manumatic transmission (6AT) provided by its Australian subsidiary DSI, the car achieves a shift response speed of only 0.3 seconds.

The automaker's three sub-brands have released 18 models, most of which have been built into its top-quality range. "We will introduce new cars at the Changsha Auto Show held a month later, and there will be more high-quality new cars to come", said Yang Xueliang, the PRO of Geely, adding they will bring the three new models to the show and call this "shooting three arrows at one time".

According to people familiar with the plan, the three models mentioned by Yang will be the Englon SC3、SC6 and SC76-AT, covering small, compact and middle-class cars offered by the brand.

According to Yang, Geely has been taking a steady way of development and delivering impressive sales performance in recent years. "The initial sales target for this year was 460,000, but the current performance shows that it is not difficult to reach 480,000 units, a 10-percent growth over year-ago (432,000)", said Yang, "Geely will at least maintain an annual growth of 15 percent in the future".
