Nowadays, more and more people choose oversea on-line shopping instead of asking the oversea purchasing agency for help. Meanwhile, the year end sales season is upon us.
Some overseas websites are offering great sales, with deals of up 90 percent off in some cases. According to figures from Paypal, 11 percent of Chinese on-line shoppers choose to shop oversea, roughly 18 million people. Sales hit 2.7 billion US dollars in 2011.
Mrs Qiao has more than ten years of on-line shopping experience.
She first chose to shop at Chinese websites like Taobao, but soon, she found it more attractive shopping on overseas sites.
Talking about the experience of shopping on overseas shops, Mrs Qiao says cheap prices is the main attraction.
However, the results are not always ideal.
It takes at least ten days to get the goods after Mrs Qiao buys them on-line.
She runs into difficulties when distribution problems occur.
Despite such unhappy experiences, Mrs Qiao says the quality is usually reliable if customers choose big websites with good reputations.
Meanwhile, it's also necessary for customers to choose the right size when buying clothes, as the US or European sizes are larger than those in China.
