Fresh housing price data from the National Bureau of Statistics, showing slight price increases in November.
On a sequential basis, new home prices rose in 53 out of 70 cities, that's about 3/4. 10 cities saw a drop in prices, while 7 showed steady prices. In the past few months, the number of cities with higher prices has been climbing. Worth noting, the price increases in the 53 cities were minimal, that is, than 1 percent.
On a year-on-year basis, 41 cities saw home prices drop, 4 remained steady, while 25 saw prices increase. but again, the price increases were less than 2%, so against the backdrop of continued property curbs, rigid demand remains strong.
