More CSRC criminal cases

The China Securities Regulatory Commission, the country's top securities regulator, received a total of 380 tips on violations in securities and futures in 2012, an increase of 31 percent over the previous year, China Securities Journal reported Thursday.

The commission also saw an increase of 21 percent or 316 case investigations last year, and 33 suspected criminal cases were turned in to the judicial departments.
