Honeywell Aerospace, the United States-based aviation spare parts provider, signed a cooperation agreement with AVIC Aviation Engine Holding Co Ltd to work on engine-developing projects for the Chinese general and business aviation industry, Honeywell said on Wednesday.
A steering committee will be established by the two sides to supervise the projects and leaders from the two companies will have regular meetings to guide the projects.
Honeywell previously formed a joint venture with a subsidiary of AVIC Engine to design and produce oil pumps for aero engines.
