China's non-manufacturing activity continued to expand in January as the service sectors received a boost ahead of the upcoming Spring Festival Holiday, latest monthly survey showed Sunday.
The Purchasing Managers Index of China's non-manufacturing sector was 56.2 percent in January, up 0.1 percentage points from December, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said in an online statement.
The figure marked a fourth month of straight rises. A PMI reading above 50 percent indicates expansion from the previous month, while a reading below 50 percent indicates contraction.
