The growth rate in rent for luxury shopping malls in Beijing saw a slowdown in the first quarter because some luxury brands have slowed their expansion in major Chinese cities, global real estate consuntancy Jones Lang LaSalle said in a report Thursday.
But the rent for mass consumption shopping malls in Beijing still saw stable growth in the first quarter as more mid-level brands quickened their expansion, the consultancy said.
