Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang, is calling for the country's policymakers to focus on economic transformation and deepened reform. He made the remarks during a seminar on macroeconomics.
Li says, greater efforts should be made to improve the quality of China's development, with a focus on economic restructuring and upgrading, boosting employment and lifting average incomes.
He also added that sustainable development lies in further reform, and the use of targeted and long-term policies to solve deeply-entrenched problems.
