The HSBC flash purchasing managers index for China has been released shortly after the market opens.
The PMI for April stands at 50.5, lower than the economists' expectation. It is the sixth consecutive month that China's PMI stands above 50. A reading above 50 suggests factory activity accelerated on a monthly basis. China's GDP in the first quarter increased by only 7.7%.
