China Southern said Saturday that it will cut fuel surcharge fees from May 5, trimming surcharges by 10 yuan ($1.62) to 60 yuan for routes under 800 kilometers and by 20 yuan to 110 yuan for longer routes.
It is the second time this year the carrier has announced cuts to the fuel surcharge, and comes after a Wednesday announcement of lowered prices for domestic oil products.
