"CSR Guide for Multinational Corporations in China," a guide to avoiding futures risks in China, was published July 12 in Beijing.
The Guidebook was jointed written by Canada-based Harmony Foundation and Beijing-based SynTao.
An Jiali, a research manager of SynTao and co-author of "CSR Guide," said that the primary purpose of the book is to help CSR practitioners and business leaders develop meaningful programs that meet societal needs and build long-term community relationships in China.
"It's the time for multinational companies to grasp the opportunities and avoid risks in fast-changing China. The guidebook can provide them strategic direct at the right time," said Liu Weihua, vice-president of China Corporate Citizenship Committee.
SynTao president Guo Peiyuan echoed Liu's sentiments.
"We hope this guidebook can lead a market and brand-based CSR theory to society and bring benefits for both society and companies."
