China issued bonds worth 534.2 billion yuan ($87 billion) in June, down 34.6 percent from a year ago and 43.3 percent from May, the central bank said in its latest monthly statistics released Wednesday.
Total bond issuance reached 4.3 trillion yuan in the first half of the year, up 21.5 percent from a year ago. The interbank bond market, a majority of the bond market, reached 4.1 trillion yuan in the first six months of the year, up 19.8 percent year-on-year, according to the central bank.
