China Mobile, the country's largest telecom carrier by number of subscribers, introduced on Friday two self-branded smartphones - the M701 and the M601 - as well as accessories including portable power sources.
The two smartphones will be sold in China Mobile's outlets and through online shopping platforms later this month, the company said.
The new products are mainly aimed at the middle and low-end market. The M701 will be priced at more than 1,000 yuan ($163.20), while the M601 will be priced at 499 yuan.
China Mobile was the first telecom operator to enter the smart device market, and the company said it will provide more cost-effective smart devices in the future.
