Telecom equipment vendor Nokia Siemens Networks has officially been renamed Nokia Solutions and Networks.
Meanwhile, the company's Chinese name has yet to be decided but will be released by October, the company's top official in China said.
NSN became a wholly owned unit of Finnish mobile phone company Nokia Corp this month, after Nokia acquired the 50 percent of NSN it didn't own from Germany's Siemens AG.
Markus Borchert, president of NSN China, said that the acquisition will not affect its operations in China.
"Our strategy and management team in China has not changed," Borchert said at a news conference in Beijing on Thursday.
"Our goal to become a specialist in mobile broadband remains the same and we strive to maximize value for our customers in China," Borchert said.
He declined to comment on recent reports of potential layoffs.
The company is also aiming to grab a larger share of the ongoing China Mobile Ltd fourth-generation, or 4G, network equipment tender.
