China's distributed solar power generation will gain a subsidy of 0.42 yuan ($0.07) per kilowatt-hour for projects approved after Sunday, as well as projects approved before Sunday but scheduled to begin operation by January 1, 2014.
The on-grid prices of electricity generated by solar power stations will be priced from 0.9 yuan to 1 yuan per kilowatt-hour, depending on solar resource conditions and construction costs in different areas, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement on Friday.
