The 2013 China (Yinchuan) International Muslim Entrepreneurs' Summit kicked off in the city of Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on Sept. 14.
As one of the most important activities of the First China-Arab States Expo, the summit achieved great results.
A total of 18 project contracts with a total investment of about 2.8 billion yuan were signed. Two projects with an investment of about 430 million yuan have already be launched.
The cooperation fields of the 18 projects cover Moslem food, small civilian aircraft spare parts production and processing, medical treatment and public health, e-commerce and the cloud application, design and development of RFID system, construction of collaboration platforms between China-Arab small and medium-sized enterprises,bonded logistics, agricultural technical cooperation, integrated utilization of solid waste.
The summit has promoted the construction of a new inland economic pilot zone in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and also demonstrated China's policies of developing the west and opening the west. It will help expand the country's opening-up towards the developed as well as developing countries.
