The 2013 China Cultural Industry Index was launched on Nov. 9 at a press conference in Beijing during the 8th China Beijing International Culture & Creation Industry Expo (ICCIE).
The culture index will measure the performances of culture-related Chinese companies.
Established cultural experts, government officials, industrial leaders and investment operators will be invited to share their views on the subject--"the cultural industry and sustainable urban development."
The latest outcomes of a number of culture-related key projects will be unveiled during the press conference. These projects will include the China design trade market, the Red Star Dreamworks Plan, improvements in design and innovation in Beijing, the 2013 China Red Star Design Award, Design Journey and 3D Printer World.
The ICCIE, which was founded in 2006, has become a state-level platform for Chinese cultural businesses to showcase their strengths and latest achievements. It is an ideal place for international exchanges and business matching activities for the cultural industry to take place.
