Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday amid policy optimism after Friday's publication of a document detailing decisions finalized at a key meeting of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index advanced 0.54 percent to open at 2,147.37. The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.61 percent to open at 8,356.91.
