The five-day China-Arab States Expo concluded in Yinchuan, Ningxia, Nov. 19th, 2013. The expo attracted more than 7,300 guests from 67 nations.
China and Arab nations are working together to pave a "New Silk Road".
A total of 158 contracts on business projects were signed during the expo, with a total value of 259.9 billion yuan (42.36 billion U.S. dollars), covering energy and chemical industry, new material, Muslim food and supplies, cultural tourism.
Contracts with 31 Arab states reached a total value of 66.49 billion yuan (10.84 billion U.S. dollars).
During the second ChinaArab Television and Broadcasting Cooperation Forum, the General Administration of Press and Publication of the PRC signed agreements with the Arab Broadcasting League and several other state media organizations to enable a series of Chinese film and television products to screen in the Arab nations.
